Our Holiday Fundraiser: A HUGE Success!!

We are dearly blessed with an amazing community of generous donors! You always manage to surpass our stated goal – and usually our wildest dreams as well: the 2025 Holiday Match Challenge is a prime example.

The November 21 article on our website and Facebook page announced the start of the 2025 Holiday Match Challenge sponsored by our longtime friend and benefactor, the Wilkins Family. This season, the family pledged to match gifts from the Friends of FEBS community totaling up to $10,000.

In a matter of days, you awed us by blowing past the $10k mark! But you didn’t stop there – not by a long shot! You kept giving and giving until, at two days before Christmas, you reached the lofty level of $19,760! Some gifts arrived after the December 23 cutoff; we are certainly grateful, but unable to count these donations toward this particular campaign.

You’re the best!!

We are eternally thankful for the ongoing financial and moral support of the Wilkins Family and the many members of the Friends of FEBS community. You are the lifeblood of the sanctuary and our ongoing ability to provide forever care to so many parrots and other exotic birds.

Of course, our caregiving responsibilities and need for operating funds don’t just happen during a few short weeks in November and December each year. It costs nearly $1,500 each and every day on average to provide shelter, nutritious food, medical care, toys, attention and love to the 850+ birds that call FEBS their forever home. So, please, consider joining the supporters who donate each month toward our smooth-running operation. Of course, more substantial gifts, given two, three or four times a year, are certainly welcome as well.
