Sarah Tipton is one of our loyal, enthusiastic, and highly valued employees. She is also a fulltime student at the Pasco-Hernando State College, with aspirations of one day becoming an avian veterinarian.

Sarah recently helped a fellow student complete a video-production school assignment. To our delight, the chosen focus of the video was our mission: to provide a sanctuary for domesticated parrots to live out the remainder of their lives just being birds.
Hayley Reed is the University of South Florida (USF) student who produced and directed the video, with Sarah preparing the script based on her work experience at FEBS. The video was created by Reed as part of her training at the Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communication at USF.
In the text synopsis of the video, Reed refers to FEBS as the “hidden gem in the Tampa Bay community.” We are extremely proud of Sarah Tipton and appreciative of her promotion of our sanctuary and its vital mission – Sarah and her fellow employees here at FEBS are our “hidden gems”!
